Thermal outflow protection is required in the case of variable flame boilers and heating installations using solid fuels. STS20S drain protection is a pressure-independent valve, activated by the temperature of the medium at the outlet from the heat source. At 97°C (+/-) 2°C, the DHW outflow from the heater opens. In this way, the valve prevents the temperature from rising above 110°C (the maximum opening).
Thermal drainage protection is manufactured in accordance with DIN 3440.
TECHNICAL DATA
Min. operating temperature: -10°C
Min. opening temperature: 97°C
Max. operating temperature: 110°C
Operating excess pressure: 10 bar
Maximum flow: 6.5 m3/h
Note! According to DIN 1988, thermal drain protection does not replace the required membrane safety valve.
By DIN 4751, the user of the device is required once a year to commission a specialist check of the drainage protection in terms of the correctness of operation.
